2 wet spells likely in J&K between 7-13 January

J&K: Two western disturbances likely to affect Jammu & Kashmir , Ladakh and Gilgit Baltistan between 7-13 January.

The first one of light intensity likely to affect J&K in between 7-10 January, under it’s influence light to slightly moderate rain/snow expected over scattered places of J&K and Ladakh. During this spell there are less chances of snow over the plains of Kashmir valley.

The second western disturbance of moderate intensity likely to affect J&K because 11-13 January, under it’s influence fairly widespread rain/snow expected in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Gilgit Baltistan. During this spell Snowfall can occur over the plains of kashmir valley, Chances are 80%. During this spell heavy snow also possible over one or two places of J&K.

Improvement in weather expected from 13 January evening & onwards.
