The maximum impact of This WD will be over Kupwara, Bandipura, Baramulla , Budgam, Ganderbal, Poonch, Ramban, Kulgam, Shopian and Anantnag districts. These districts may receive more precipitation as compared to rest districts.
Moreover during this WD most of the plains of Kashmir valley( including Srinagar city, Pulwama & Ganderbal plains )and Hilly areas of Jammu Division which are located above the elevation of 1200M may receive light to slightly moderate snowfall.
Higher Reaches may receive moderate snowfall during this spell , however one or two Higher altitudes may witness heavy spell of snowfall.
The Jammu plains ; Jammu, Samba, Kathua and lower reaches of Rajouri, Reasi, Udhampur , and Ramban may witness light thunderstorms and scattered showers during this WD .
