J&k:During the early morning hours light snowfall received by the upper higher reaches of the Pirpanjal Range and some other higher reaches of Kashmir valley. It is the season first Snowfall in the higher reaches of the UT. About 1-3 inches snowfall accumulated in these areas. Rest areas of the UT received light rain during this period. Today mostly cloudy weather expected with a chance of light to slightly moderate rain over many places of Kashmir province and some places in Jammu province. Improvement in weather expected from today’s evening.
