J&K : Under the influence of western disturbance light snow & rain may occur over many places of Jammu & Kashmir during the next 48 hours.
During this spell moderate snow also possible over one or two places especially the higher reaches of the UT. Light snow also possible over few plains of Kashmir valley during this spell.
This spell may bring precipitation over many places of Kashmir valley and few places of Jammu province. Especially parts of Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Kishtwar & Doda districts.
Improvement in weather expected from 9th January evening.
Another wet spell of moderate intensity likely to affect J&K and Ladakh between 11-13 January. Under it’s influence widespread Snow and Rain expected in the both UT’s.
