03 August: There is a possibility of showers in some parts of Jammu region, especially in its higher areas near to Pir Panjal and other mountainous ranges.
04 – 05 August: There is a possibility of monsoon showers in many areas of Jammu region. However, no widespread spell is in the forecast. 17 – 19 hrs of the day may at least experience dry weather.

1. There is a risk of flash floods due to intense showers/cloudbursts in a few vulnerable areas (mainly areas close to mountains).

03 August: The day is expected to start with mostly sunny weather. Towards afternoon/evening, there is a possibility of a thundershower in some parts of Kashmir. This will be in the form of short intense showers. No widespread rainfall is expected.
04 – 05 August: Weather activities are expected to pick up from Sunday early morning. There is a possibility of a thundershower in many areas of Kashmir on Sunday. No widespread rainfall is expected, so it is possible that it may not rain everywhere. In some areas showers will be short & intense.On Monday, generally any major spell isn’t expected, but in some areas there is a possibility of short intense showers.Prolonged rainfall is not expected on any day.
Note: There is a risk of intense showers/cloudbursts which may trigger flash floods in vulnerable areas.
