Jammu and Kashmir is currently under the grip of fresh western disturbance of light to mild intensity.
Today under the influence of this WD some places of Jammu and Kashmir especially few parts of North Kashmir received precipitation. Currently partly to mostly cloudy sky is being observed over many parts of J&K.
During the next 24 hours many places of Kashmir valley and some parts of Jammu Division, especially the parts of Poonch, Rajouri , Reasi, Doda , Udhampur , Ramban and Kishtwar districts may receive rain/ snow showers.
The maximum impact of this WD will be over North Kashmir’s Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipura and Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The Higher Altitudes of J&K may receive light to slightly moderate snowfall during the next 24 hours. Important roads like Srinagar Leh Highway, Mughal Road and Bandipura Gurez Road may disrupt due to snowfall.
