Weather update for Jammu and Kashmir, a fresh Western disturbance of light intensity likely to affect some parts of Jammu and Kashmir from 29th of November. The maximum impact of this western distribution likely to be over north Kashmir district, and some other Higher Reaches of J&K.

 Another western disturbance of light to slightly moderate intensity may affect Jammu and Kashmir from 2nd December During this western disturbances, many parts of Jammu and Kashmir may receive light to slightly moderate rain /Snow, the higher reaches of poonch, Rajouri Doda Kishtwar Anantnag Kulgam Shopian Baramulla Kupwara Ganderbal and Badgam District May receive light to slightly moderate snowfall during the second spell. The plains of Jammu may receive a brief spell of light rain shows during this spell. Overall nothing significant expected over the plains of Jammu divisions during this WD.

 Traffic on Srinagar-Leh Highway, Mughal Road, Bandipur Gurez Road, and other higher altitude roads may disrupt due to snowfall.
