Rain/Snow likely in Jammu and Kashmir
A fresh Western disturbance will effect tonight over jammu, kashmir and ladakh under its influence of this weak weather system light to moderate rain is expected at most places of plains with light snowfall over higher reaches .
Light to moderate rainfall is possible in plains of jammu and there is no snowfall in plains of kashmir during above period.
Many upper reaches may receive seasons first snowfall and there is 40% chances of light snowfall over Gulmarg and pahalgam .
Peer ke gali , , Sadhna Top Razdan Top ,Sinthan top and Zojila pass may receive moderate snowfall between 19 evening – 20 October.
In ladakh rain/ snow can occur at many places during above period.
Improvement in weather is expected from 20 October night .
