Fairly Widespread Snow and Rain Expected In Jammu and Kashmir, Read advisory

Under the influence of Western Disturbance today fairly Widespread Rain and Snow Expected In Jammu and Kashmir.

Today light to slightly Moderate Snowfall may also occur over the plains of Kashmir Valley.

Besides it some lower Reaches of Poonch, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar Districts may also receive Snowfall.

Middle Reaches of Jammu and Kashmir May receive Moderate Intensity Snowfall.

Plains of Jammu Province and parts of Kathua, Rajouri, Reasi, Udhampur and Ramban may receive Light Rainfall today.

Snow Avalanche may also occur over some Higher Reaches Of Jammu and Kashmir, Especially the areas located over 2800M elevation . Kindly donot venture in Avalanche prone areas.

Improvement in Weather Expected from late evening/ night hours.

Therafter Mainly Dry Weather Expected during the next 10 days.
