Srinagar- Currently mainly Dry Weather observed in Many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. From the last 10 days Dry Weather prevailing continue in J&K and Ladakh due to the absence of active Western Disturbance.
Last Month , December 2023 was one of the Driest month recorded in Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh. In December the Precipitation deficit by 90-96%.
Weather Forecast For J&K and Ladakh till 07 January
Mainly Dry Weather Expected In Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh till 07 January as no active Western Disturbance Will Bring Rain or Snow there. However around 5-6 January few places of Ladakh and Gilgit Baltistan may receive a Brief Spell of Light Snowfall under the influence of very Weak Western Disturbance. Mostly Cloudy Weather Expected In J&K on 05 January Under the influence of this Weather System.
Rain and Snow Expected In few parts of J&K and Ladakh after 07 January As another WD Expected around 8-9 January. We will Update you regarding this system in coming two to three days.
