In general, the best time to visit J&K is during the summer months, from April to September, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities.
The temperature during this time ranges from 20°C to 30°C, and there is very little rainfall.During the winter months, from November to February, the temperature in J&K drops significantly, and heavy snowfall is common, particularly in the higher elevations.
Temperatures in the winter months can range from -2°C to 12°C in the plains and as low as -20°C in the mountains.It is important to stay informed about the weather conditions in J&K, especially during the winter months when heavy snowfall and avalanches can occur.
