Gulmarg is the one of the most beautiful Tourist Destination located in North Kashmir Baramulla District. It is famous for it’s green meadows, Gandola, Snow Skiing and Snowfall during winter.

As compared to past years this year Gulmarg meadows has a very thin Snow Covering in little portion which depressed the Tourists who visit Gulmarg to enjoy Snowfall.
Gulmarg received no Snowfall from the last one month due to absence of any major wet Spell. Kashmir’s Gulmarg never seen such type of drought conditions from the last some decades during winter months.
Due to absence of Snowfall in Gulmarg there is declined in number of tourists in Kashmir….
El Nino effect is behind the drought type condition in North India due to this effect the Western Disturbances loose their intensity when they are heading towards North Indian States,

When will Snowfall Occur in Gulmarg
Due to absence of any Weather System mainly Dry Weather Expected In Gulmarg till 16 January. Around 17 January a Fresh weak Western Disturbance Will affect some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and under its influence breif spell of light snow showers may occur in Gulmarg on 17 January. But the chances of Precepitation are 30-35% as of Now , and if things change we will update you accordingly.
