Under the influence of Upcoming Western Disturbances fairly widespread light to moderate and somewhat heavy Rain and Snowfall Expected over Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh.

The first Western Disturbance is of light intensity which will bring Snow over Higher Reaches Of Jammu and Kashmir including Gulmarg, Sonamarg and Pahalgam. It will affect J&K from 25 January. Rain Showers also Expected in Some Parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Second Western Disturbance is of Light to Moderate Intensity which will affect Jammu and Kashmir from 28 January. Under the influence of this Western Disturbance Fairly Widespread Season first major Spell of Rain and Snow Expected In Jammu and Kashmir.

Higher Reaches of Jammu and Kashmir including Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Peer Ki Gali, Doodhpathri may experience Heavy Snowfall.
