A Fresh Western Disturbance of light to moderate intensity Likely to bring light to slightly Moderate rain/Snow in many parts of kashmir Valley and in some parts of Jammu province from 9 November.
Rainfall and Snowfall brings again the temperature down by 2-4°C in many areas of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
The intensity of this western disturbance will be more in Kashmir valley & in Poonch, Rajouri Districts of Jammu’s Pir Panjal Region.
Moderate to heavy snowfall Expected during this spell in some higher reaches of Jammu & Kashmir UT.
There are less chances of Snowfall during this spell over the plains of Kashmir valley except few Parts of Shopian & Kulgam Districts.
Due to the erratic Weather conditions in J&K on 9th & 10th November may lead to temporary suspension the traffic on Jammu- Srīnagar National Highway.
During 9th & 10th November All the passengers are instructed to Check the Road status from PCR’s before travelling on it.
Mughal Road, Gurez Road & Srinagar-Leh Highway may gets further closed due to heavy snowfall.
