A weak Western disturbance likely to affect Gilgit Baltistan, Ladakh & Parts of J&K from 17 October evening to 20 October.

Under its influence light to moderate Snowfall expected over the most areas of Ladakh & Gilgit Baltistan, Light to slightly moderate rain/ snow Expected in Kashmir valley & Parts of Jammu Province.

Maximum impact likely to be over Gilgit baltistan, Ladakh & North Kashmir districts including Muzaffarbad.

Its impact over rest parts including South Kashmir & Jammu region will be lesser

There are 40% chances of Snowfall in Gulmarg during this spell.

Traffic on Mughal Road & Srinagar- Leh Highway may be affected due to Snowfall.

After this spell Minimum Temperature in Kashmir valley likely to fall by 3 to 6°C & Maximum Temperature Likely to fall by 2 to 4°C.
