A fresh western Disturbance likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh between 14-17 October. Before that on 12 and 13 October mainly Dry Weather Expected in Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh.
The intensity of this Western Disturbance likely to be from light to moderate Intensity. Fairly widespread intermittent light to moderate rain and snow expected in Jammu and Kashmir between 14-17 October.
J&K Weather
Higher Reaches of Jammu and Kashmir & Ladakh especially 3000M and above elevated areas may receive light to moderate Snow between 14-17 October.
Note : There is no Snowfall Predicted over the plains of Kashmir Valley
Few places of Jammu Division may receive somewhat heavy showers for few hours on 17 October.
Traffic on Mughal Road, Anantnag Kishtwar Road and Srinagar Leh Highway may get affected due to Snowfall.
Farmers are advised to harvest their crops before 14 October as a precautionary measure if necessary.
