The Perseids, one of the brightest meteor showers that occur each year, peak expected on August 13 and 14. During the peak of this year perseid, you may see up to 100 meteors per hour. Here’s how the cosmic wonder happens and how you can catch a glimpse of it. The Perseid meteor shower commence on July 17 and will conclude on August 24, but time and date wise, its peak is occurring on Sunday and Monday this week. You will not even need any special equipment like binoculars or any special skills to see it. But you’ll need clear skies.
