Dry weather prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir over the past many days except few showers which occurred in parts of Valley and Pir Panjal around 30 October.
The last month October is recorded one of the driest month of this year over many places of Jammu and Kashmir.
From today to till 10 November mainly Dry weather predicted across Jammu and Kashmir.

From the evening of 10 November a western disturbance of light to moderate intensity may affect parts of Jammu and Kashmir, under the influence of the western disturbance mainly parts of Kashmir valley, Pir Panjal and Chenab valley may receive rain/snow showers.
Besides it few parts of Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts may receive breif light showers, overall nothing significant expected during this western disturbance over the plains of Jammu and Kashmir.
