Prolonged Dry Spell Likely to end From Jammu and Kashmir on 16 January

A fresh Western Disturbance Likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on 16-17 January. Under its influence light Rain and Snow Showers Under Expected over some parts of J&K and Ladakh.

Prolonged Dry spell likely to end from Jammu and Kashmir by tomorrow due to this Western Disturbance.

As per our analysis light Snowfall may occur on 16-17 at Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Gurez, Higher Reaches Of Poonch, Kishtwar and Doda District may also Recieve Light Snow Showers.

Some plains of Central and South Kashmir may also Recieve Light Snow Showers during this spell. Overall nothing major Expected in the plains of Kashmir Valley.

Overall Partly to Mostly Cloudy Weather Expected In Other parts of J&K.

From 18-22 January Dry Weather Expected In Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Another WD Expected from 23 January. We will Update you regarding the Intensity of this Spell in comming 2 days.
