As Predicted Earlier, that Western Disturbances likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh between 14-18 October. Today western Disturbance Will Bring light to slightly moderate Rain showers in Jammu and Kashmir, Today Snowfall also Predicted over some Higher Reaches of J&K.

Snowfall Prediction: Snowfall mostly Predicted over those higher Reaches of Jammu and Kashmir which are located above the elevation of 3000M AMSL. Although Snowfall may also occur upto 2500M AMSL elevated areas. Chances in these areas are 60%

Snowfall likely to occur at Zojila Pass, Peer Ki Gali, Sinthan Top, Razdan Top, Gurez sonamarg,and other Higher Reaches of Poonch, Rajouri , Baramulla, Budgam, Shopian, Kulgam, Doda , Kishtwar, Anantnag, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Kupwara and Bandipura District.

Snowfall may also occur at Gulmarg the chances of Snowfall at Gulmarg are 40-60%.

Note : There is no Snowfall Predicted In the Plains of Kashmir Valley

Rest areas of Jammu and Kashmir will receive light to moderate Rain and Thundershowers between 14-18 October.
