Traffic on Jammu – Srinagar National Highway is suspended as the restoration work on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway could not be completed. Mughal road which is the alternative route is opened for Traffic for both LMVs and HMVs.
J&K Traffic Police advised peoples not to ply on Jammu Srinagar National Highway untill the restoration work complete and Highway open for Traffic. Till the restoration of Highway people’s are allowed to ply on Mughal Road which connects Poonch district with Kashmir valley Shopian district.
Subject to the fair weather and good condition of road ,Mughal road will open for vehicles from 0600hrs to 1800hrs, from the both sides ; Buffliaz and Herpora. Peoples are also advised to drive vehicles from Buffliaz to Surankote side as the construction work underway on Dehra Ki Gali Side & drive vehicle carefully between Buffliaz and Surankote stretch to avoid any Traffic Jam
