Two Wet Spells expected in J&K, Ladakh during the next week.

Two back to back Western Disturbances Likely to affect J&K, Ladakh & Gilgit baltistan during the next week.

The first one of weak intensity Likely to affect from 31st October to 2nd November. Its Maximum affect Likely over Gilgit baltistan & Ladakh region.
During this spell light Snowfall expected in many places of Ladakh & Gilgit baltistan division, & light rain/Snowfall expected in some places of Jammu & Kashmir.

The second one of weak to slightly moderate intensity Likely to affect from 3rd November to 6 November. With its main activity expected on 4th November.
During this spell light to slightly moderate Rainfall expected in plains & Snowfall expected over the higher reaches of J&K, Ladakh & Gilgit baltistan division.

Instruction for Gujjar Bakerwals Tribals.
All the Gujjar Bakerwals are instructed to leave their seasonal houses which are situated above the elevation of 2500M as soon as possible to prevent any loss of livestock.

Traffic on Mughal Road & Leh – Srīnagar Highway may affected due to Snowfall during this spell.
