Mainly Dry Weather expected across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh during the next 10 days, there is no forecast of any type of precipitation in the both UT’s for the next 10 days, however broken clouds expected for one or two days during the next week which can gives some respite from the cold wave.. Overall nothing major expected.
On the other side, around 2,3,4,5 & 6th December under the influence of very weak weather system very light snow can occur over few places of Gilgit Baltistan Region, mainly over the higher reaches.
Temperatures in J&K, Ladakh & Gilgit baltistan likely to drop further in coming days .
After the 10th of November there is about 90-95% deficiency in precipitation seen in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, which causes deficiency in Ground water level over some areas of the UT.
If the dry weather conditions prevails in J&K for the next two weeks, so there after any weather system which approaches J&K likely to be of moderate to heavy Intensity which can fulfilled the deficiency of Rain/Snow.
