Widespread moderate snow/rain expected in J&K & UT Ladakh From tomorrow evening
A fresh moderate intensity western disturbance will affect jammu, kashmir and Ladakh from 5th afternoon to 07 Nov and its main activity will be on 05 night to 07 nov morning under its Influence, light to moderate rain expected in plains of kashmir , Moderate rain expected in plains of jammu and moderate snowfall is expected in higher reaches of j&k during this period.
As per weather models 80% chances of Light snow in plains of shopian & Kulgam & There is 45% chances of light snow in other districts .
On 6 & 7 Nov : Isolated places of higher Reaches may receive heavy snowfall particularly south kashmir.
Light to Moderate snowfall is also Expected in Kargil and leh districts of Ladakh.
Probable impact:
This may led to temporary disruption of major highways and air transportation and dip in maximum temperature.
