Jammu and Kashmir observed Dry Weather from Several Weeks and Due to which droughts like condition developed in Some parts of J&K.
Water from many Spring, River and other waster bodies has been reduced due to Dry Weather.

A Wet Spell is expected in Jammu and Kashmir after 15 January. As per our analysis a Fresh Western Disturbance Likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir on 16 and 17 January. Under the influence of this Western Disturbance Light Rain and Snowfall Expected over some places of Jammu and Kashmir. During this spell Light Snowfall may also occur in Gulmarg , Sonamarg and Pahalgam.
