Fresh Snowfall at Gulmarg , Sonamarg and other Higher Reaches Of Jammu and Kashmir

Snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir

Under the influence of fresh Western Disturbance light to slightly moderate rain and Snowfall Reported From many parts of Jammu and Kashmir since last night.

As per reports and our analysis all the Higher Reaches and Middle Reaches (>2000M) received fresh Snowfall During the last night and early morning hours.

It is further stated that the Higher Reaches Of Ganderbal, Bandipura, Kupwara, Baramulla, Budgam, Shopian, Kulgam, Anantnag, Pulwama, Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Ramban , Kishtwar and Doda Districts received Snowfall During the last night.

Besides It many parts of Leh and Kargil District of Ladakh also Recieved Snowfall.

Gulmarg and Sonamarg also received fresh Spell of Snowfall During last night.

Historical Mughal Road which connects Poonch and Rajouri district with South Kashmir Shopian district has been closed due to Fresh Snowfall accumulation. Besides it Gurez Bandipura road also closed due to Fresh Snowfall.

Presently the system is affecting parts of South Kashmir and Chenab Valley districts. Mostly cloudy weather is prevailing in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir now.

Improvement in weather Expected from today’s evening and thereafter mainly Dry Weather Expected across Jammu and Kashmir till the next 7 days.
